Fortune Chinese Restaurant has two locations, each with two menus. The one in Hales Corners (5512 S. 108th St.) is the larger and nicer spot. (The other is located at 2945 S. 108th St., West Allis.) You will be handed an Americanized Chinese menu—chop suey, egg foo young, etc.—but ask for the authentic Chinese version. A few months ago the Hales Corners location was remodeled and a Japanese sushi bar was added (creating still another menu). The Japanese menu is mainly nigiri and maki sushi and sashimi, along with a few appetizers. Fortune remains Chinese at heart, and the authentic Chinese menu simply has no equal in this area. Where else can you have California roll as a starter for duck feet with Chinese mushroom in casserole? (Jeff Beutner)

The U.S. Supreme Court announced that it will hear the case to determine if Wisconsin Republicans’ redistricting maps are too partisan. Do you believe the U.S. Supreme Court will order Wisconsin to redraw our legislative maps so the majority of legislative districts are competitive and voters will actually have a real choice between a Democrat and Republican?
