Considering the Marcus Amphitheater’s already star-studded country lineup this year, the addition of stud Luke Bryan and two highly regarded up-and-coming acts should be enough to keep the cowboy-hat crowd grinning all Summerfest long. The 36-year-old remains a party boy at heart, releasing albums with such titles as Tailgates & Tanlines and this year’s Spring Break…Here to Party. Bryan swept all nine categories in which he was nominated at the 2012 American Country Awards, and he’s in the midst of the “Dirt Road Diaries Tour,” which began in January and runs through at least October. >

Opening for Bryan will be two hot duos. Thompson Square is a husband-and-wife team whose single “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” was, according to Mediabase, the most-played song on Country radio in 2011. Florida Georgia Line wrote its first songs sitting on the back of a pickup truck and made a remix of its 2011 smash hit “Cruise” with rapper Nelly.

Would white supremacists, neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan pose the same threat they do now if a mainstream Republican were president instead of Donald Trump?
