In addition to playing host to many wonderful multicultural exhibits throughout the year, the folks at the Walker’s Point Center for the Arts (WPCA) also pride themselves on their active role in the community. Encouraging creativity in children is at the core of the WPCA’s mission statement, and the center sponsors a richly varied array of programs to foster artistic development among area youth, partnering with Milwaukee Public Schools to expose kids to dance, performance art, creative writing and visual arts. Summer camps are held both at the center and in outdoor settings.
