"Man Finds Food," a Travel Channel show starring Adam Richman of "Man v. Food" fame, will feature Milwaukee bar and restaurant Uber Tap Room on its episode airing tonight, May 27. This will be the third time Richman has brought one of his shows to our city, with previous stops for his shows "Fandemonium" and "Man v. Food".
Richman will be sure to find a Wisconsin-sized selection of beer and cheese at Uber Tap Room, with the bar’s 36 local beers on tap and a menu that boasts five different mac and cheese dishes. The newly slimmed down Richman may have had trouble keeping the weight off after his night in Milwaukee.
If you want to watch the episode in the same place it was filmed, head down to the Uber Tap Room tonight where they will be hosting a viewing party. They will be offering free food and free beer from 7:30-9:30 p.m. with the show airing at 8 p.m.
This episode showcasing a Milwaukee bar and restaurant on a national scale is no longer something new. Late last year Jon Taffer and his show "Bar Rescue" visited a struggling bar on the East Side and turned it into a '70s themed hangout called Nick’s House. "Best Bars in America" on the Esquire Network also included four Milwaukee bars. This just proves what everyone already knows: Milwaukee is really good at drinking beer.
