Modern Perspectives celebrates the freedom of self-expression through artwork created from fiber.

The exhibit runs through April 6, 2014.  Special events related to this exhibit include:
Ø “A Menu of Modern,” an all-day series of trunk shows, lectures, panel discussions and book signings featuring four modern quilters:  Jeni Baker, Jacquie Gering, Lee Heinrich and Faith Jones.  This event takes place on Saturday, January 11.
Ø “Slice & Insert Improvisation Workshop” with Jacquie Gering takes place on Sunday, January 12, from noon to 4 p.m.

The museum is located at N50 W5050 Portland Road, Cedarburg.  Phone number is 262.546.0300.  Hours are Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m.  Mondays and Tuesdays are open by appointment.


The new owners of the Shops of Grand Avenue have revealed a radical redesign for the mall, which will include a proposed grocery store, an urban marketplace and contemporary office spaces, as well as the potential for a new name.
