Modern Perspectives celebrates the freedom of self-expression through artwork created from fiber.

The exhibit runs through April 6, 2014.  Special events related to this exhibit include:
Ø “A Menu of Modern,” an all-day series of trunk shows, lectures, panel discussions and book signings featuring four modern quilters:  Jeni Baker, Jacquie Gering, Lee Heinrich and Faith Jones.  This event takes place on Saturday, January 11.
Ø “Slice & Insert Improvisation Workshop” with Jacquie Gering takes place on Sunday, January 12, from noon to 4 p.m.

Registration for these workshops can be made in person, at the museum, or online at www.wiquiltmuseum.com<http://www.wiquiltmuseum.com/>.  The website also contains daily class schedules and detailed descriptions of the course offerings.

The museum is located at N50 W5050 Portland Road, Cedarburg.  Phone number is 262.546.0300.  Hours are Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m.  Mondays and Tuesdays are open by appointment.
