Everyone has a story to tell. To help more people to share their true, personal stories, local nonprofit Ex Fabula has begun to offer workshops, including "Tell Your Story: An Introductory Storytelling Workshop for Adults."

These workshops are led by
Megan McGee, Executive Director of Ex Fabula, and Karen Kolberg, Ex Fabula's lead storytelling coach. In this hands-on workshop, they will guide you through exercises on the following topics:
  • Finding your story: Why storytelling is important and powerful and how to select a great story to tell
  • Crafting your story: How to structure your story for maximum impact
  • Telling your story: Tips to practice before you take the stage

After the workshop, participants will be invited to free storytelling related get-togethers like a storytelling potluck, as Ex Fabula hopes to go beyond a single workshop and create a supporting community of storytellers.

Additional session of the workshop to be held Saturday March 8, 1 to 3 pm.
