First Stage continues its 27th season with CRASH from March 28 – April 13, 2014 at the Todd Wehr Theater located at 929 N. Water Street, Milwaukee.  This insightful story is based on the book of the same name by Jerry Spinelli.  Tickets can be purchased in person at the Marcus Center box office at 929 N. Water Street, by phone at (414) 273-7206 or online at www.firstststage.org

The story of CRASH follows troubled teen Crash Coogan who despite seeming to have it all struggles with gaining the attention of his preoccupied father.  “Jerry Spinelli and Y York have crafted a piece that affords us a window into the distraught psyche of a bully, and with it an opportunity to dialogue about this complex and critical societal issue,” said First Stage Artistic Director Jeff Frank.  “It’s relevant to every upper elementary, middle and high school age student as they navigate sibling relationships, family structure, societal pressure and ultimately the true meaning of friendship.”

Performance dates:  CRASH opens Friday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m.  Other performances are held: Saturday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, March 30 at 1 & 3:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 5 at 1 & 3:30 p.m.; Sunday, April 6 at 1 & 3:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 12 at 3:30 & 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, April 13 at 1 & 3:30 p.m.
