PianoArts North American Piano Competition Finals & Awards Concert

PianoArts welcomes to Milwaukee 12 celebrated pianists, ages 16-20, selected to compete in the PianoArts 2014 Competition, June 5 -11 at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Pianists who have advanced to the Semifinals will compete for over $25,000 in awards and engagements through solo and collaborative recitals and for the opportunity to perform a full concerto with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

June 11th is the final day of the competition, culminating in the Finals Concert at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. We are hosting a pre-concert lecture called Inside the Music, which starts at 5:30 in the Anello Atrium in the Marcus Center. The Finals & Awards Concert starts at 7:30, at the one and only Uihlein Hall. Tickets are available for only $15 for adults and $10 for students! Box seats are also available for $50.

During the rest of the music festival, PianoArts competitors and jurors will perform in recitals, hold master classes, and participate in panel discussions and other events.
