Comfort with a twist includes moderately priced entrees of homespun classics such as meatloaf with mashed potatoes, while the friends table reverses the concept of small plates with servings large enough for two. An example is the ocean martini, a version of the classic Parisian chilled seafood tower. This dish combines shrimp cocktail, raw oysters, ahi tuna and Maine lobster claws, all of which are just waiting for you to dig in. The ahi tuna also appears in one of the starters, the tuna carpaccio. The term carpaccio usually means you will be served next to nothing, but the portion at Mi-key's is generous. The raw slices of tuna are arranged in an attractive ring and topped with sesame, ginger and wasabi oils. A salad of seeded cucumber and rice vinegar occupies the center and everything is sprinkled with colored sesame seeds. The trio of oils is an asset, as some of the tuna slices were devoid of flavor.
