Milwaukee Comedy
Every year in August, Milwaukee is treated to the largest comedy festival in the state, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, and this year is the 10th anniversary! This year the festival takes place at Next Act Theater and Turner Hall, from August 6-9, and looks to be one of the best lineups a comedy fan could possibly want.
A new edition this year will be an official kickoff event on the Wednesday before the event, taking place at Lakefront Brewery and featuring the best comedic talents Milwaukee has to offer. Maybe it's just me, but brewery tours and comedy are a match made in heaven.
Alright, so let’s get to the lineup! It's very impressive and diverse, with comedians coming in from all over the country just to grace us with their often ungraceful presences. I am particularly excited for quite a few of these, either because I haven’t had a chance to see them, like T.I.M., King Quail, Josh Johnson, and a bunch of others that I really, really, really enjoy. Of course, I can’t wait to see Brian Posehn again, I’m a big fan of his work, from Mr. Show to the Comedians of Comedy to Deadpool.
Remember that the schedule is subject to change, stay tuned for details.
