The fear of heights is one of the most common phobias. The idea of free falling from high above the ground evokes a sense of dread. So when someone is courageous enough to take a risk and conquer that fear, it creates edge of the seat entertainment.
Nik Wallenda has made a lucrative career of breaking records as a daredevil and tight-rope walker. He achieved a world-renowned reputation after becoming the first person to tight-rope walk over Niagara Falls in 2012, and currently holds 9 Guinness World Records for various acrobatic feats.
Tuesday night, the storied Wallenda will attempt his longest walk ever, 1,560 feet,10 stories above the Milwaukee Mile racetrack at the Wisconsin State Fair.
