Slide the City, the 1,000 foot slip and slide, will be coming to Milwaukee on Saturday, July 25. The event will have participants sliding down over three football fields worth of slippery vinyl.
The fun will start at 10 a.m. when “Super Sliders” will be able to slide through Milwaukee’s downtown (Highland Ave, from 10th to sixth street) as many times as they would like until 1 p.m. After that the other sliders will be able to slide the city as many times as their ticket allows until 7 p.m.
There will be music, dancing, food, drinks and swag for sale all day, so even if the water isn’t your thing you can come and enjoy the show. For all the sliders out there, make sure to bring your inflatable tube and be ready to splash around downtown.
If you can't make it to the Milwaukee event on July 25, look for Slide the City in downtown Racine on August 8.
