The Milwaukee Rep will be celebrating its 40th annual staging of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol this coming holiday season. As always, they’re looking for kids of ages 7-14 to be in the cast. They’re currently accepting queries. From the official announcement:
“Parents interested in having their kids audition should send a separate photograph of each child along with height, weight, age, clothing and shoe sizes, address and parent’s home and cell phone numbers as well as e-mail address to:

Children should also include a brief note telling the theater about themselves and why they would like to be in A Christmas Carol. All information must arrive at The Rep by Wednesday, May 20.”
Auditions will be held on June 1. Callbacks will be held that evening. No one will be seen without an appointment, however, and that’s going to involve letting The Rep know about your kid’s interest by May 20.
A Christmas Carol rehearses Tuesdays through Sundays from Nov. 10-29 and performs Dec. 1-24 at the Pabst Theater. For more information, visit milwaukeerep.com.
