Estabrrok Beer Garden with Local and National Musical Acts

Estabrook Beer Garden features top tier local and national performers this Saturday and Sunday. The weekend line up is one of the best of the year and as always, these concerts are free in your Milwaukee County Park. Wisconsin’s very own Freistadt Alte Kameraden Band takes the Stage on Saturday at Noon. Renowned as one the best brass bands in America, the Alte Kammeraden have performed far and wide, including at the world-famous Munich Oktoberfest. Enjoy waltzes, marches and great beer garden favorites.

Sunday starts off at Noon with the Bolzen Beer Band. This Lincoln, Nebraska trio is not your Opa’s polka band. Pushing the limits of what’s music possible, these boys can turn just about any melody into a stein pounding beer garden sing-a-long.

GRAMMY NOMINATED ALEX MEIXNER HEADLINES SUNDAY AT 4PM

Arguably America’s most famous contemporary accordionist, you might recognize Alex Meixner as the Hormel Pepperoni One Man Band. Meixner’s musical talents and incredible stage energy provide endless entertainment. With classic polka standards, pop covers and over-the-top original compositions, this show offers something for everyone. This is world class entertainment in your very own Estabrook Beer Garden.

Estabrook Beer Garden represents a return to an era that disappeared from our landscape with the start of Prohibition. It is the first truly public beer garden in America in nearly 100 years. Inspirations came from Milwaukee’s brewing legacy and the operation is modeled after beer gardens found in modern day Munich, Germany. The Estabrook Beer Garden is a place for all people to come together enjoy nature, a great beer and make new friends. Estabrook Park lies on the banks of the Milwaukee River, the beer garden is set on a bluff just above a waterfall. Visitors arrive by foot, bicycle, automobile, kayak and canoe.

Food is limited to beer garden basics of Bratwurst, Hot Dogs and our Famous Giant Fresh Baked Pretzel. Because the beer garden is truly a public place, visitors are welcome to bring picnic baskets with their favorite fare and soft drinks. Carry-In of Alcohol is Prohibited by Law.
