Riverwest Public House 815 E. Locust St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53212
Join Arkansas based songwriting duo The Lark and the Loon for an evening of live music at Riverwest Public House. On tour with their new album "Homestead Hands" the duo brings their fresh batch of songs along for their western US tour. Featuring songs inspired by prairie western and Black Hills history along with songs about their own travels and Ozark lives the two bring forth music inspired by the threads that separate and bind rural and urban America straight from their Ozark porch.
Having spent a majority of the last 2 years on the road the two have performed in over 40 states and Ireland and carry an ever evolving set of styles and instruments with them. Drawing influence from Delta and Piedmont blues, early jazz and swing, country, and Irish music the two bring their accordion, banjos, guitars, washboard, and shotgun shell box turned stomp box to life into a performance that has "brought the truth in authentic folk music back from the dead." - No Depression
