Forty Carats tells the story of Ann Stanley (played by Sam Billeck), a successful 40-year-old business woman who has a romantic encounter with a much younger wealthy, sophisticated man, Peter Latham (played by Zach Sharrock) while on vacation in Greece. She never expects to see him again, but Peter unexpectedly appears at Ann’s apartment weeks later as her daughter’s date, which sets off a series of fun and life-altering events.
