Third Ward Italian restaurant Onesto (221 N. Broadway) will debut a new brunch menu on Saturday, Nov. 17.
Onesto’s new brunch specialties will include a scallop benedict served on brioche, seared polenta with poached eggs and bolognese, bruleed bread pudding with basil mascarpone, wild mushroom ragu, spaghetti squash frittata, and waffles and gelato.
There will also be a craft cocktail menu that includes house made shrubs and infused vodkas. Onesto will serve cocktails both individually and in carafes to encourage sharing and sampling.
“Introducing these unique brunch items creates another opportunity to share Onesto’s honest Italian cooking with the city, and I couldn’t be more excited,” Onesto executive chef Alex Sazama said in a press release. “My culinary travels throughout the Mediterranean have inspired many of these dishes and I’m eager to interpret those flavors and methods into this delicious menu.”
Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
