The Pabst Theater Organization announced a trio of indie-rock shows at its venues this morning, including a long-overdue Calexico performance at the Turner Hall Ballroom and the return of the dream-pop duo Beach House to the Pabst Theater.
Beach House will play Milwaukee on Monday, Sept. 21, as part of the tour behind their just-announced new album Depression Cherry, which will be out in late August. General admission tickets are $24.75 and go on sale Friday, May 29 at noon.
Calexico, meanwhile, will return to Milwaukee for the first time in nearly 10 years as part of a tour marking the band's 20th anniversary. They recently released a wonderful new album, Edge of the Sun. Tickets for the Turner Hall Ballroom show on Monday, Sept. 20 are $20 and also go on sale Friday, May 29 at noon.
The Pabst also announced that burgeoning indie artist Lady Lamb will play the Turner Hall Ballroom on Thursday, July 16 at 8 p.m. Tickets for that one are $10.
