This week on The Disclaimer, WMSE's weekly culture chat show with Ryan Schleicher, Milwaukee Record's Matt Wild and I, we're discussing news that the city may be getting a new all-ages venue, and quite an ambitious one at that: a $3.5 million complex in the former Palms Music Club venue called The New State. It's exciting news, but we discuss how the deck is still very stacked against all-ages venues in this city. Then we celebrate some more good news: The city will be phasing out its unloved current parking meters, replacing them with ones that won't make you walk a block. We close the show with yet another update on Bird scooters, and an account of Aaron Rodgers punching a shark.
