If you’re looking for a family-friendly activity for after Christmas dinner, head downtown and view the city’s lavish holiday light displays. Thousands of lights will be illuminating Cathedral Square Park, Pere Marquette Park and Zeidler Union Square.

Gee, not so long ago the fear was that liberal Democratic Madison was going to force all kinds of statewide liberal rules on all the local conservative Republican communities.
Now the fear is that conservative Republican Madison is going to force all kinds of statewide conservative rules on all the local liberal Democratic communities!
It's all the same but depending on which side you are one, one is good, the other is bad. Isn't it amazing how divided we have become?
Why must both sides be trying to practice "economic genocide" on the other? Why can't we all get along, and fight the common enemy... the corporate CEO puppetmasters that are now in control (controlling elections, using lobbyists to tell our lawmakers how to write the laws to their specification).
I knew the game was up 20 years ago when "Big Tobacco" was donating to both the Republican candidate and Democratic candidate of the same race. Didn't matter which one won, but both would know who gave them the money to run.
Ya think Big Money cares about pro life or pro choice? Ya think they care about gun rights or gun control? Ya think they care about tough on crime or "rehabilitate"? Just so long as business goes on as usual, who really cares about us people?
The "best" we can do for them, is for all of us to take out huge mortgages, even taxpayer subsidized (future tax dollars not todays). We spend it all on "private" purchases, they take the profits out of this country, leaving us shutdown and unable to pay back the taxes, right after we bail out their private banks with public money.
