Evoking comparisons to LCD Soundsystem with its inventive electro-pop sensibilities, the Melbourne disco/synth band Cut Copy began as a solo project by DJ Dan Whitford, it developed into something much more complex, noticeably tightening its sound since the addition of bassist Ben Browning and subsequent members. The group's latest album, Zonoscope, is their highest charting yet in America.
