Book clubs are the opiate of the masses. No, waitthat’s religion. Book clubs are awesome. Tonight the Young Comunist League hosts its monthly Marxist Book Club at Broad Vocabulary at 5 p.m.

Had the Mother's Day Brunch today at Ovation and I...

Had the Mother's Day Brunch today at Ovation and I was disappointed. First, brunch implies breakfast and lunch menu items. Aside, from the beef tenderloin all the items on the buffet were breakfast items. All of the hot foods were cold. The only nice thing was the omelet station, but quite a few diners had to have their omelets remade due to having to wait over 20 minutes for the staff to refill the breakfast meats. Also, by the time I got back to my table on the opposite side of the buffet station my omelet got cold. I've had dinner at Ovation and thought it was quite good, didn't anticipate they would fail miserably at brunch. My family and I will be returning to our usual spot for Mother's Day brunch next year.
