Nashville-based singer-songwriter Mat Kearney has earned a name for himself in adult-alternative circles with his easygoing pairing of two very different genres, folk and hip-hop. He also must have one of the most savvy licensing agents in the industry, since his songs have been featured on nearly two dozen TV shows, including “The Vampire Diaries,” “Scrubs,” “Bones” and, of course, “Grey's Anatomy.”
