Historical fiction author Robert Alexander returned this year with The Romanov Bride, his final novel in a trilogy about the Romanov family. This new book introduces a widowed villager who, in his grief, joins the Russian revolution, ultimately deciding the fate of a displaced grand duchess. Alexander reads from his book tonight at a 7 p.m. appearance at the Schwartz Bookshop in Shorewood.
