Thanksgiving is one of the few holidays where almost the entire city really shuts downeven the Milwaukee Public Museum closes, and it’s open every other day of the year except for Christmasbut the Milwaukee County Zoo rises to the occasion to give families something to do. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the zoo is waving admission for all Milwaukee County residents.
