While electric vehicles still only make up a tiny percentage of the overall automobile market, sales—especially in states such as California and Washington—are on the rise.
Owners and enthusiasts of electric vehicles will gather at the Greenfield Public Library (5310 W. Layton Ave.) on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for the Electric Vehicle Owners Forum. The event is a part of National Drive Electric Week and features 10 different vehicles from eight manufacturers.
Electric cars from Nissan, GM, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Tesla, Honda and Chrysler will be available for test ride-and-drives.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Drive Smart Wisconsin will hold a discussion about the basics of electric vehicles, battery technology, the financial benefits of owning an electric vehicle and more.
