The Shepherd Express and Cream City Foundation are excited to celebrate LGBTQ progress in Milwaukee on Thursday, December 3rd from the comfort of your own homes!
We have been proud to host the LGBTQ Progress Awards for the past six years. This year we were setup for in-person celebration but unfortunately, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect people around the world, including here in Milwaukee, we have decided to make the hard decision to move the Progress Awards to a virtual event. We are committed to keeping our community safe and we feel that this is the best decision to do that.
That being said, we are still very excited to celebrate and honor all of the LGBTQ and allied individuals, organizations and businesses that help make the Milwaukee area a safe and inclusive community for everybody. The list of deserving nominees reflects decades of cumulative (and often unsung) activism, leadership and commitment to the betterment of the Milwaukee’s LGBTQ community, and, by extension, the greater community at large.
