Expand

Burger Week is an opportunity for us to raise funds together for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin along the way. We need your help, as a participating restaurant, to make that happen!

We're proud to share that a dollar from every burger sold will go to Feeding America.

At the end of the week, the Shepherd Express will crown a winner of Burger Week based on the restaurant with the highest customer engagement through social media posts during the week + the restaurant's own posts mentioning #mkeburgerweek.

We want to make sure you have all the tools you need to give your restaurant the edge in this contest and can help spread the good word about burgers around town.

What We're Doing

Shepherd Express will market Burger Week to Milwaukee burger lovers through as many channels as humanly possible and some that might be humanly impossible, including:

• Print advertisements in Shepherd Express up to and during Milwaukee Burger Week
• Online and mobile advertising across the Shepherd website and Facebook Event site
• Email marketing to the Shepherd Express network
• Posters and menu inserts at participating venues
• Website showcasing the locations and available burgers
• Special 8-page Burger Week pullout edition the week of May 6
• On-air radio spots on 91.7 FM WMSE

What You Can Do: 9 Ideas

2. Snap and post a pic of one of your chef's preparing your special Burger Week burger.
3. Snap and post a mouth-watering pic of your special Burger Week burger after it's made.

A portion of the proceeds from each burger sold during the week will be donated to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. Your efforts to promote Milwaukee Burger Week will help us all raise as much money as possible to contribute to the leading hunger-relief organization in the state.
