Deborah Blanks was CEO of the Milwaukee Social Development Commission and worked as an assistant professor/lecturer at UWM, School of Education, Department of Educational Policy and Community Studies. She is currently a Ph.D. dissertator at UWM’s Urban Studies Program, writing a dissertation on how the current social service delivery system impacts African Americans.
