About Us
Run Up to the Runway is an event sponsored by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra League's Evening Associates in collaboration with the Milwaukee Art Museum. Just four years ago, RunUp to the Runway began as a complement to the Symphony Style Fashion Show Gala with a focus on showcasing local design talent. In a remarkably short time, RunUp has grown from a cocktail party with 75 attendees to a large scale fundraising spectacle incorporating top design students from Mt. Mary College, local retailers, up and coming designers and the finest salons in the city. Attendance is expected to reach 1000 this year. Join us October 17 to see what everyone is talking about!
