2018-2019 Music Mosaics Series Continues with Romance Times Three

At 7:30 p.m., Sunday, November 18, come and see the next concert of the Music Mosaics series, Romance Times Three. Faculty members MyungHee Chung, piano; Leanne League, violin, and Benjamin Whitcomb, cello, will transport audiences with their harmonious renditions of classical trios by Brahms and Schubert. The Music Mosaics series benefits the UW-Whitewater Music Department’s Scholarship Fund, allowing the department to recognize students for their musical talents and academic excellence. Chung, League, and Whitcomb will be performing Brahms’ lush B-major Piano Trio along with Schubert's evocative Nocturne. The trio has performed for over 20 years on campus and around the state, the trio’s harmony can frequently be heard on Wisconsin Public Radio’s Live from the Chazen broadcasts. Having recently performed several times for schools and venues, in and out of the state; trio member, Benjamin Whitcomb states that, “After these performances, audience members frequently commented on how very unified our playing was, that we were clearly communicating and conversing with each other through our instruments and that our passion for the music was obvious.” Experience the emotion and electricity of live music with Music Mosaics Romance Times Three.
