Born In The USA: America's Veterans Fundraiser w/The Don Linke Trialogue, Bad Poems for Good People & Zosia Holden (3pm)
to
Dryhootch Coffee House 1030 E. Brady St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202
This is the first of a series of benefit shows, organized by Dryhootch Coffee House and singer/songwriter Zosia Holden, in order to raise money to support American veterans. In a time when veterans seem to be less and less valued by governmental policy, the artists and workers involved with this series want to send a message that Milwaukee citizens do, in fact, care about our troops when they come home.
Zosia Holden will be playing first, showcasing her new folk-punk album, Bad Poems for Good People, followed by the Don Linke Trialogue, a progressive jazz project also featuring Victor Campbell and Clay Schuab. We will be accepting donations handled by Dryhootch, who will give all proceeds to a yet TBD Veteran-based cause. Stop by, stand up for our Vets, and enjoy some powerful music!
