Celebrating the Designers - A Fashion Show & Wearable Arts Market

The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts (WMQFA) is pleased to present Celebrating the Designers: A Fashion Show & Wearable Arts Market on Sunday, November 18, 2018 beginning at 1:30 p.m. The afternoon kicks off with the Wearable Arts Market featuring twenty local and regional wearable arts makers offering items for sale. Then the fashion show will feature three local designers whose global designing and sewing experiences bring a fresh perspective to clothing and textiles to the Midwest.

In an automated, fast-fashion world, fashion designers Cindy Brinkman, Amu-Cherian and Mary Sue Fenner focus on artsy and hand crafted garments. Previously loved, upcycled, repurposed, recycled, printed, and vintage are some of the words the designers use to describe their clothing.
