Highlights this year include:
The exterior has been updated to feature brighter LED lights, new ribbons and decor featuring earth tone colors to harmonize with the Mansion. New large-scale topiaries have been added underneath the loggia flanking the main doorway. Courtesy of David J. Frank Landscaping, Interiorscape Department.
The interior décor is a wide array of styles from traditional, elegant to zany.
The well-known Reception Hall chandelier has been included in the Christmas display prominently this season. Large red balls hanging from the fixture join the festive red light-wrapped antlers. Design by June Stolp Garland.
The small Conservatory has big impact featuring red and white candy cane colors, by Nancy Kruschke.
The 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage is highlighted among the Christmas décor in the Servants’ Dining Room. Photo and text reproductions from periodicals of the time are spread throughout the room. Décor and information provided by National Society Daughters of the American Revolution-Milwaukee Chapter.
