Double Decker Beer Release Party

Try two new brew city beers during Drink Brew City Week! After Homebrew Day in Humboldt Park, head on over to MobCraft Beer for a double beer release party in their taproom. At 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1st the brewery will be releasing one collaboration beer with 1840 Brewing as well as one of their crowdsourced beers. Come try some new beers and be sure to make your way to the s’mores bar!

The first of the two beers, Nuance, is a much anticipated beer brewed in collaboration with 1840 Brewing Company. Nuance is a barrel fermented, brett conditioned farmhouse ale with apricots and peaches. This brew boasts an aroma of fresh peach, and a great melding of apricot and farmhouse esters.

The second brew is Bonfire Summer Stout, a barrel aged milk stout with graham crackers, cacao nibs, vanilla and lactose. This 7.9% beer features chocolate and sweetness on the nose, followed by a handful of smokiness and bourbon character, finishing with chocolate and a hint of sweet.

To help celebrate the release of this beer, there will be a s’mores bar in the brewery where you can roast up your own marshmallows. Choose from a variety of chocolates to put a new twist on the traditional Hershey’s s’more. Pre-order your bottles here.
