Join us on the cutting edge as UWM Chamber Music Milwaukee faculty artists, composers, and guests present new and “almost new” works combining instruments, computer, and voice. The program features Topochronos from The Dream, for harp, tenor and computer, by Jon Welstead, along with virtuosic works for percussion, saxophone, harp, flute, and bass. Faculty percussionist Alexander Wier, saxophonist Nicki Roman, Greg Flint, Kevin Hartman will premiere new works by Jonathan Monhardt and William Heinrichs. Guest artists Emanuel Camacho, Olivia Dobbs, Luren Finn, and Maggies Iken will present new works by Joshua Backes for an emotive and provocative concert.
