Elsa’s
833 N. Jefferson St.
765-0615
Back when the best that most Milwaukee bars could offer was a shot and a beer, there was Elsa’s, serving a touch of big-city class. Over the past quarter-century many restaurants, bars and nightclubs have come and gone while Elsa’s has thrived, changing little except for the art displayed on the elegant walls. One of Elsa’s secrets is its unfailing ability to attract interesting people of all backgrounds, some of them sipping potent martinis at the bar and others at the tables, feasting on some of the city’s best burgers.
