In the words of my Uncle Earl, "I'm not too damn happy about this." Ted has proved that he is not the long time replacement for Ron Wolf. His whole philosophy is to build the team through the draft. He continually drafts defensive players with the first pick who have been marginal at best. Time and time again, he preaches the importance of trading down and acquiring more picks to add depth to the team. The Packers bench is about as deep as my toilet and smells about the same.

Mike Holmgren has earned the right to serve as GM/Coach of the Packers. At least when his teams are losing he gives the outward appearance that losing is unacceptable and heart failure is one bad play away. McCarthy just stands there and after the games admits that they have to "fix some things"

This act is getting old fast. Let's get rid of Thompson & McCarthy before the Packers sink to the depths of the pre-Holmgren era.
