Six years after their last album together, drummer Colin Stranahan, pianist Glenn Zaleski and bassist Rick Rosato reunited their jazz trio to record this live disc. While they have been busy as side players during the intervening years, they’ve lost none of their collaborative intuition. Their original music is thoughtful, post-Bill Evans in style, rhythmically active with the textures of each instrument distinct as sticks and strings circle in tandem.
