Small Business Saturday may not be as well-known as its door-busting predecessor Black Friday, but its presence is felt on the local economy nonetheless. Cascio Music, a local Wisconsin musical instrument retailer celebrating 72 years of business, will have all of the sales you would expect from Black Friday, but will have a completely new set of Small Business Saturday deals as well.
“We are proud to be a part of Small Business Saturday here in the greater Milwaukee Area. Cascio Music has been a local and trusted independent music source for musicians here in Wisconsin since 1946,” said Mike Houser, CEO of Cascio Music. “From stage to studio, we have over 60,000 musical items for everyone from beginner to pro, and display our products proudly in the largest music store in Wisconsin. Our experienced team looks forward to serving our customers from young to seasoned, on Small Business Saturday and every day, here at Cascio Music.”
While Cascio has grown to become the largest music store in the state, its roots are everything that Small Business Saturday represents. The store began in post-WWII Milwaukee as a small accordion shop in West Milwaukee.
Now that the business has grown and serves customers through its multi-channel retail, wholesale and manufacturing operations, it still has that small business feel because of their personalized customer service and attention to detail. Especially on Small Business Saturday, customers can get the best of both worlds.
Throughout the years of business, Cascio Music has been dedicated to furthering the art of music through community involvement, offering free in-store educational and musical performance clinics and local sponsorships.
