Area poets celebrate poetry month tonight with a 7 p.m. event at the Downer Avenue Schwartz Bookshop called “April Showers: Milwaukee Poets.” Steve Anderson, BJ Best, Jim Hazard, Peggy Hong, James Liddy and Chuck Stebelton will read a mix of new and previously published works.
