The Milwaukee Bucks will be hosting a block party (not this kind) this Saturday, June 6 at the Stock-House Grounds of Schlitz Park.
The party will run noon to 5 p.m. and feature the unveiling of the new Bucks home and away uniforms at 2 p.m. This event is free and open to the public and will include local music, vendors, games, food, drinks and appearances by both current and former Milwaukee players. Giannis Antetokounmpo, John Henson, Damien Inglis and Jabari Parker are all scheduled to attend, along with former Bucks all-stars Bob Dandridge and Vin Baker.
Seven Milwaukee-area acts are set to perform including Wait for Morning, Kevin Hayden Band, Corey Pieper, KimberLee Laske, DJ Nu-Stylez and recent Shepherd Express cover story artists, Pizzle and WebsterX .
Other attractions will include Bango, the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, a prize wheel from Columbia St. Mary’s and, my personal favorite, the Rim Rockers.
Food will be provided by Davians Catering, who will be grilling up burgers, brats and hot dogs, and five local food trucks.
Before the Bucks Summer Block party, you can participate in a virtual raffle to win new logo merchandise online at bucks.com/uniforms.
