Milwaukee's oldest, largest and most prestigious readers' choice awards program
Voting in the nomination round runs from Sept. 17-Oct. 15, 2020.
You must vote in at least five categories to make your votes valid. You are not permitted to fill out or submit ballots on behalf of another individual.
Readers can place one nomination in each category for the first round and one vote per category in the final round.
Businesses that offer discounts in exchange for votes will be disqualified.
You can return to your ballot at any time during each round. If you want to return to the ballot associated with your email address, use the "Already Registered" button below to trigger an email with a special link specific to your ballot.

ATTENTION: First Time Voters
To register, go through these steps of placing your first nomination.
• Choose the category you want to vote in (ex. Dining Out), then scroll to the subcategory (ex. Best Burger).
• Click into the entry box and type in the person/business you want to nominate.
• Click the “NOMINATE” button and the nomination form will turn into a simple contact info form asking for name and email address. Fill in the fields and submit.
• Once you make that first nomination, you’re registered and can nominate in any other category.

HOW IT WORKS: The Best of Milwaukee Readers' Choice Contest is a program that's open to the public. The nomination period for the 2020 edition of the contest ran Sept. 17-Oct. 15, 2020. During that period, readers had an opportunity to nominate their favorite entrees in over 300 categories in an open-ended format. Readers are allowed one nomination per category and nominations are accepted via our online ballot located at ShepherdExpress.com/BOM20. Top nominated entrees move to the Final Round which will run Nov. 5-Dec. 3, 2020. The Final Round ballot is multiple choice in each category. Top vote-getters in each category are recognized as the Best of Milwaukee. Winners are also recognized at the Best of Milwaukee Party held annually in January.
