Everything You Need to Know About Saturday's WI Cannabis Expo

One-day expo features over 100 exhibitors and industry experts

Shepherd Express is proud to present the first annual WI Cannabis Expo this Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at the Wisconsin Center. Featuring exhibitors, speakers and an estimated over 2,000 attendees, this event is an opportunity to learn more about the innovative and exciting cannabis, CBD and hemp industry.

This business-to-business and business-to-consumer, one-day expo will feature 100 exhibitors covering all angles of the industry including growers, processors, dispensaries, operators, testers and investors. During the event, guests will have the chance to sample and purchase product, attend presentations from leading experts in the cannabis, CBD and hemp industry, chat with thousands of cannabis enthusiasts and network.

All products sampled and sold at the expo are legal in the state of Wisconsin. Speaker and panel discussions will include topics regarding legalization and the future of cannabis in Wisconsin.

ATTENDEES: Must be 18 years or older to attend.

RULES: You must be 21 years of age to accept samples of smokeable products.

Vaping, dabbing and smoking of any kind is not allowed in or on the Wisconsin Center campus. If anyone is seen doing any of these activities, they will be asked to leave the building and event.

First 1,000 attendees will receive an attendee gift bag compliments of Tapuat Kombucha! Make sure to stop by their booth #415 for some tasty Kombucha sampling.

Tickets for the WI Cannabis Expo are on sale now. If it is not a pre-order sell out, credit card will be the only method of payment for walk-up sales.

Be careful. But, individual communities have their own laws for first time small amount offenders. Hope there isn't a first time, but really hope there isn't a second time, which is a felony.

Beware! Prohibition is LAW OF THE LAND IN Wississippi!!!

To any and all planning on visiting Wississippi. Cannabis is still VERY MUCH ILLEGAL in Wisconsin!!! In fact, you will be arrested and imprisoned as a FELON in Wisconsin for possession of any amount!! The State of Wisconsin is still arresting and imprisoning dying cancer patients for small amounts of cannabis. Be careful! Wisconsin is a pro-Trump, alcoholic, Gerrymandered, racist backwater!! Don't let these Republican cheesebillies ruin your life for nothing like they have so many others for so many years! Just stay in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota where common sense, decency and basic human rights exist.

Cannabis is NOT DECRIMINALIZED in Wississippi.

WRONG!!! I am in Wisconsin and the reality is, cannabis is very much NOT DECRIMINALIZED in Wississippi!!! Educate yourself. It is false statements like these that lead to disaster for thousands in Wisconsin who have had and still are having their lives destroyed, everyday, not by cannabis, but by the failed, racist prohibition of it.
The first time arrest for possession of any amount is a $1,000 fine and six months in prison in Wisconsin. The second "offense" for possession of ANY AMOUNT is a $10,000 fine and 3.5 ,years in prison. FACT!!! Very much NOT DECRIMINALIZED. By comparison Minnesota did decriminalize in 1976, 42 grams or less is a civil, not criminal violation, usually a $200 fine.
I have been advocating for reform in Wisconsin for 30 years and in reality, nothing has changed whatsoever. The racist, regressive state of Wisconsin is still aggressively enforcing the Prohibition laws from 1936. Fact. Furthermore, Wisconsin voted for and loves Trump. Fact. Wississippi is the most drunk state in the USA. Fact! Wississippi is also the most segregated (aka racist) state in the USA! FACT. Educate yourself and stop spreading false information, false hope that could very well lead to more good peoples' lives being destroyed. Stay in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota, where common sense and basic human rights are still respected. Wississippi is lost forever..."bro."

Sentencing correction

The first possession charge is either a muni ticket or a misdemeanor charge. If the amount is high... that can be charged as a felony. Prison for six months?! More like jail or house of correction.
Either way... u r right on the rest and it is Illegal in Wisco people!!

That is not true! Wisconsin has NOT decriminalized state wide this it 100% depends on where you live in the state. If you happen to live in a city that has decriminalized, you are correct. However, if you don't, you will be arrested and charged under the STATE LAW! Get it? That is not equal protection under the law, at all! And your point about jail vs prison is completely pointless semantics because Wississippi locks up so many people for petty, nonviolent things (twice as many as MN, thus twice the costs to taxpayers but no difference in crime rates) that people sentenced to prison are often time kept in jail because the prisons are literally overflowing in Wisconsin. And really, if you get arrested and charged as a FELON in Wisconsin for a $5 bag of reefer, does it really matter where you do your time after you lost your job, housing, school loans, right to vote, gun rights etc....Not to me. It's this kind of ignorance that keeps cannabis prohibition alive and well in Wississippi, now and for decades to come.
