Recognized as one of the Top 100 art fairs in the U.S., the Morning Glory Art Fair is the place to discover the talents of amazing artists from Wisconsin and around the country. Morning Glory will take place Sat., Aug. 14, and Sun., Aug. 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the plaza in front of Fiserv Forum.
The 2021 fair, which is free and held entirely outdoors, will feature 135 top-tier artists – the most ever in the fair’s 46-year history. In addition, Morning Glory will showcase five emerging artists from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee.
For those who are looking to discover new treasures that bring joy for years to come, Morning Glory features fine craft and art in 13 categories -- ceramics, digital art, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood. Morning Glory is a juried show that admits a select group of artists from across the country who meet strict criteria and demonstrate a level of quality, creativity and originality.
“Morning Glory is truly a special event where you can talk with artists, learn more about their craft and find out how they create their beautiful pieces,” says Jean Wells, president of Wisconsin Craft, the organization that hosts the annual art fair. “Be sure to put Aug. 14 and 15 on your calendar and come check out all of the wonderful art that’s available for purchase.”
The 46th annual Morning Glory Art Fair is free and open to the public and runs Sat. and Sun., Aug. 14-15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the plaza at Fiserv Forum, 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave. Fair goers regularly discover treasures that add charm, beauty, character and whimsy to their home, garden and wardrobe.
