Sure, the Sherman, Tiger and T-34 tanks are described in detail. But on the strength of informative interviews with historians and a competent narration, “Historic Tanks & Battles of WWII” touches on larger themes of military strategy, technology and the rise of America from isolation to global military-industrial colossus.
