A rendering of Crossroads Collective food hall
As Crossroads Collective (2238 N. Farwell Ave.), Milwaukee’s first food hall, nears its projected opening date, three more vendors have been announced.
Falafel Guys, a food truck that serves Middle Eastern cuisine and recently opened a location at 105 W. Freistadt Road in Thiensville, will open a second location in the food hall. Heaven’s Table BBQ, a barbecue catering business; and Beerline Café, a vegetarian café with a location on North Commerce Street were also announced.
The three new vendors will join Laughing Taco, Justin and Lucia Munoz-Carlisle’s South 1st Street taco shop; Scratch Ice Cream, the first independent retail location for Ryan Povlick and Dustin Garley’s small batch ice cream operation; and Frida, a soup and sandwich restaurant from Tess co-owners Ashley and Mitchell Wakefield.
There are eight available spaces at Crossroads Collective. The final two vendors have not been announced.
Tim Gokhman, who is developing the project as director of New Land Enterprises, told Milwaukee Business Journal that he expects the food hall to open between November 30 and December 7.
The 7,000 square foot space will also feature a main bar, as well as a speakeasy accessible only from Black Cat Alley.
Gokhman also told Milwaukee Business Journal that plans are in place to use the space as an event venue.
