Residents of Greenfield will get a taste of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine this fall.
Shawarma House recently secured their third location (7510 W. Layton Ave, Greenfield) in the former Route 76 Diner space. The new location will have a similar look and identical menu to their other locations.
The original Shawarma House, located on the East Side (2921 N. Oakland Ave.), opened four years ago. A second restaurant, which used the Oakland Ave. location as a model, opened in Brookfield in 2016 (17385 West Bluemound Road). A grand opening date for the new Greenfield location has not been set.
Shawarma House is a fast casual Levantine restaurant with a menu including a variety of kabobs and shawarma. Co-owner Mawmoud Saed explained that they've focused on the fast casual concept to cater to customers looking for a 30-minute lunch break as well as families coming in for a weekly dinner.
