Fronted by Eau Claire transplant Christopher Porterfield, the Milwaukee folk-rock band Conrad Plymouth earned critical acclaim around the city and beyond with their self-titled EP, which colors lovely Americana tunes with indie-rock guitars and dramatics. In advance of an upcoming full-length album with the full band, Porterfield this summer released a stripped-down, mostly solo EP titled Comrade Plymouth on the group's Bandcamp page.
